We Offer
- Tailored solutions that address the employer’s recruitment needs for entry-level positions.
- A powerful & achievable way of addressing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Opportunities to make a genuinely positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities.
- Support with developing job descriptions that address real need and are likely to free up existing staff, potentially leading to increased productivity.
- Dedicated placement management – a member of Flourish House staff will learn the job so that we – not the employer – are responsible for training our members in the post.
- Training and supervision. We do not leave our member to do the job until we, the member and the employer is satisfied that the training has been completed and, thereafter, we maintain regular contact through support visits.
- Guaranteed absence cover by a member of staff.
- Swift action to address any problems. Though problems are rare, we can easily be contacted by phone or email.
- Recruitment – after 6 to 9 months, we will support the member in post to progress towards independent employment and we will train a new member to replace them.
- Profile – your company will be seen to be supporting people’s recovery in a powerful way at a time when mental health is high on the public’s agenda.
- Social Media and PR – We will maximise exposure of our partnerships through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram; also, through our website, our annual reports and special events, such as World Mental Health Day.
Current Employers
It is estimated that in any one year in the UK, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem and that mental ill health costs UK businesses £26 billion each year. Employers that create supportive working environments and make appropriate adjustments for staff will reap the benefits. Raising awareness of wellbeing and promoting open discussion helps to overcome mental health stigma.
In its editorial, The Wall Street Journal described Clubhouse employment partnerships as, “A good deed and a good deal.”
A partnership with Flourish House is truly a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Our employment partners offer us:
- A job, with which we can provide our members with access to paid employment and, ultimately, the opportunity to come off benefits and become fully contributing members of the community.
- Opportunities, over time, to develop sustainable supported employment positions.
Our current employment partners are:
- Stepping Stones
- Restart
